The HT tong is a specialized tool engineered for the assembly and disassembly of tubular connections, accommodating a wide range of sizes from light tubing to heavy wall pipe and drill collars.
The tongs can be configured for either make-up or break-out operations by removing the hanger and repositioning the tong.
Available in seven different models, the HT tong offers torque capacities ranging from 10,000 to 200,000 lbs./ft and it covers pipe sizes from 2-3/8″ to 36″.

The design features interchangeable lug jaws, allowing the tongs to handle various pipe sizes.
For larger pipe sizes, hinge jaws (available for select models) can be installed.
